No more than 3 full time residents (guests are welcome), due to size of
the alternative septic system.
No smoking, no pets, no U.S. mail delivery, but Fedex/UPS packages okay.

large great room/living area, tiled shower, pantry, 2000 square feet total indoor space.
It is fully furnished with cooking utensils, one 49" TV, DVD player, most of the furniture
and some of the decorations as shown in the photos.
There is a restaurant and a liquor store within walking distance.

Composting toilet and grey-water leaching system: We obtained Mass DEP approval
to install an innovative alternative septic system with composting toilet and grey
water leaching system. As a renter, the impact is that water use cannot be indescriminate.
We have added plants to the greenhouse to maximize the water use, but this would not
be a good rental for anyone who uses a great deal of water in showers, laundry, etc.

The grey-water from the shower, laundry, and sinks must be absorbed by the plants
in the greenhouse. The composting toilet is an upscale version that is vented.
The idea is to test the ability to live without expensive septic systems that use
valuable water supplies, and it has been completely successful.

and held four trolley cars in the days when a street car
ran from Hudson to Clinton through Berlin.
